SANSOL – Heavy Duty Foaming Bathroom Cleaner

There are two key Occupational Health & Safety issues with maintaining bathrooms:- reducing the risk of infection and clean and safe floors. Transmission of infection between employee’s results in increased sick leave and can result in serious health issues. Floors which are not cleaned properly, can become slippery and can lead to slip accidents.

Germs (including bacteria, viruses and fungi) thrive in moist areas and can be found in every public bathroom. An infected person can transfer bacteria and viruses onto any surface they touch. Even though you may have washed your hands you can pick up unwanted bacteria on the door and surfaces when you leave.

Shower and washroom blocks have always been a key area for the transmission of Tinea. Blood and body fluid are less likely to be found but can harbour viruses such as HIV and Hepatitis B.

A proper cleaning routine using a disinfectant designed to kill germs and sanitise surfaces, while also removing soiling will improve the overall hygiene of a bathroom and significantly reduce the incidence of infection.
