Description

Encapsul8 is a global leading, patented encapsulating carpet shampoo that uses advanced polymer technology to encase soil on carpet fibres. Encapsulation carpet cleaning applies less moisture to carpets than traditional hot water extraction, which dramatically reduces drying times. The reduction of drying times is a huge advantage to both domestic and commercial customers where the inconvenience of drying time means no foot traffic in large areas of the home or business. Encapsul8 also reduces the amount of heavy equipment required compared to traditional carpet cleaning, making it the ideal product choice no matter where your carpet is located.

There are generally two types of soiling for carpet, particulate and oily soils. Particulate soils are normally removed by vacuuming during routing cleaning, whereas oily soils can stick to carpet fibres (as shown in the image to the left). Oily soils are normally hard to remove from carpet fibres and most are deposited by foot traffic. Oily soils are hydrophobic (they can’t be removed by water) and require a good surfactant system to ’emulsify’ and remove them.

Encapsul8’s powerful surfactant system effectively emulsifies and removes oily soils from fibres where it can be encapsulated by the incorporated crystallising polymer technology. The polymer becomes brittle as it dries and fractures from the fibre surface during subsequent routing vacuuming. Unlike many carpet cleaning products, Encapsul8’s polymer residue doesn’t attract dirt or soil and helps to ensure the carpet stays cleaner for longer. Encapsul8 provides superior dry down performance, excellent stain removal, outstanding re-soiling resistance and is safe for use on most carpet fibres.

Encapsul8 was tested against the product “Revive” at the manufacturer’s recommended dilution rate which is 50% more than Encapsul8. Encapsul8 clearly offers better value for money without compromising performance.
