Dispomop® came into being in 2003 and was awarded the prize for innovation at the Europropre tradeshow that year, in France, as the first disposable microfiber mop. It has come a long way since then!

In our production workshop, 15 minutes from Lille in France, in an ultra-low energy building, Dispomop® comes off the ultrasound cutting line at a rate of 60,000 units per day. How can we believe that such a fine textile can clean operating theatres, Intensive Care Units (ICU), fire and rescue services and even floors or vertical surfaces in the pharmaceutical industry? Because we’re experts of course but also because a COFRAC (French Accreditation Committee) laboratory demonstrated it scientifically. The latter assessed Dispomop® in accordance with the EN16615 standard. The capacity of Dispomop® to remove bacteria from surfaces and hold them in its unique 100 % polyester microfiber achieves a 4.29 log reduction. Simply put, it can eliminate more than 99.995 % of bacteria from the surface using water alone!
